Abstract

Bugungi kunda dunyo aholisi tez o‘sib borayotgan va iqlim keskin o‘zgarayotgan ayni damda oziq-ovqat xavfsizligini ta’minlash dunyodagi global muammolardan biridir. Makkajo‘xori, guruch va bug‘doy kabi yillik ekinlar donli oziq-ovqat mahsulotlarining asosiy manbalari bo‘lib xizmat qiladi. Bir yillik ekinlarni yetishtirish suvning ifloslanishi, tuproq eroziyasi, uglerod to‘planishining kamayishi, issiqxona gazlari chiqindilarining ko‘payishi va ko‘p miqdorda o‘g‘itlarni qo‘llash natijasida atrof-muhitga salbiy ta’sir ko‘rsatadi. Bir necha yil davomida dalalarda o‘sa oladigan ko‘p yillik donli ekinlarni almashlab ekishga kiritish oziq-ovqat xavfsizligini oshirishi mumkin. Dunyoda olimlar ko‘p yillar davomida bu sohaga katta e’tibor bermoqdalar.
